The Hemingway
The Hemingway is a boutique hotel nestled in the heart of downtown Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Rooms
The Pauline / room with a view
This glorious light-filled room has beautiful windows overlooking a quaint park complete with white-washed gazebo and occasional train passing nearby. The cozy room has warm exposed brick and cool white linens on the king-size bed to lull you to sleep in for an extra hour or so. Custom mix of marble herringbone floors and oversized hexagon tiles create a classically modern bathroom. The room’s amenities include a small kitchenette offering the perfect cup of coffee, flat-screen television, wi-fi, and luxurious toiletries.
The Hadley / The Suite for every occasion
The Hadley Suite is the ideal place for serenity or revelry. It can be rented on its own or as the hub of the entire hotel. This thoughtfully planned retreat is perfect for hosting a cocktail party or as picture-perfect escape colored in warm natural tones for restful hibernation. The generous master bedroom offers a king size bed, and boasts a sumptuous classic marble bathroom with 11-foot ceilings. The well-appointed living room has bespoke lighting and antique wooden beams grounded by a formal, yet inviting seating area as well as a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen area is equipped for merriment with a restored retro fridge and bar area. Don’t worry, gourmet coffee is provided for the morning after.
The Martha / Among the Oaks
Perfect for a pair of traveling companions or a girls’ trip, this suite has many nooks and crannies for serenity and privacy. The perfectly proportioned, exposed-brick master bedroom complete with king bed feels nestled in the branches of the surrounding live oak trees, with views of the verdigris copper roof, and the shops of downtown. A separate living room offers a flat screen tv, soap-stone appointed kitchenette, and bathroom with glamorous black granite and white marble clad walls. A hall window offers a reading nook for contemplative moments or imaginative escapes.
THE Mary / Romance or Respite
This expansive bedroom is ideal for lovers who have been married for a day or decades. A giant antique canopy bed is cocooned inside a fabric wall. The romantic room is wrapped in warm white with exposed brick and wide windows. A plush seating area offers a flat-screen tv, and a nearby kitchenette is stocked with gourmet coffee. Write love letters or journal at the expansive mahogany writing desk or take your time getting ready for a lovely dinner at the well-appointed vanity in the spacious bathroom and walk-in shower.

If you are looking to check in earlier than 4:00 PM, please let us know. We will do our very best to make arrangements for you!

Late check-outs can be requested and will be granted based on availability.

We secure your reservation with a credit card, and will process one night payment at time of booking. Remainder of payment due 72 hours before arrival.

Your authorized one night payment is non-refundable.
72 hours prior to check-in, the entire length of stay is collected and is non-refundable and non-adjustable.

In the case of special event dates, such as national holidays and festivals, an advanced payment of the total nights' stay plus tax is collected 30 DAYS prior to check-in.. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us AT LEAST 30 DAYS prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation without charge.

A cleaning fee of $450 is applicable if any evidence of smoking inside is discovered upon check-out.

Pets are not allowed at The Hemingway. If you are looking for a pet friendly property, we suggest a stay at our sister property, The Inn.

Rates are based on double occupancy. Each adult over two guests will be charged an additional $25 per person per night (with the exception of children under 12). Most rooms have a two-person max, unless noted otherwise.

Street parking is available on Washington and Robinson Avenues.

We honor quiet hours between 9 PM - 9 AM. Any violations of the quiet enjoyment of other guest is subject to a fee based on the damages. Please note that our property is located near the Ocean Springs train tracks, so you will occasionally hear a train pass by.
